glad I metcha.

Three steps. Zero friction.

  1. Keep one earbud. Give the other to the person you want to speak with.

  2. Choose your languages. Speak naturally.

  3. You hear them in your language. They hear you in theirs.

Bring your own earbuds — works with most major brands.

Want your own earbuds?
Pair two phones.

metcha works one-on-one with a single phone — hand over an earbud and you're talking right away. When both of you would rather wear your own earbuds, the host shows a QR code, the guest scans it with their phone camera (no app to install), and your phones share the same live conversation.

No app download required for the guest phone. Tap and talk.

What it does

  • Bidirectional

Both people speak and listen. Translation flows in both directions without any turn-taking controls.

  • Low latency

Translation happens live while you're speaking, so the conversation doesn't wait for you to finish a sentence.

  • Language-aware

The app identifies who is speaking by the language they're using.

  • On-device by default

Where supported, translation runs locally on your iPhone.

  • Private

No conversation data leaves your device in the default configuration.

A conversation
